A Weekend at the Botanical Gardens

Peaceful

Spent the whole afternoon wandering through the rose section and the little mossy greenhouse. I brought my sketchbook and ended up doing about twelve tiny drawings of different leaves. The light was so soft and golden — perfect cottagecore weather. I found a bench near the lily pond and just sat there for an hour listening to the water. Days like this remind me why I love the slow life.

Excited

Finally finished the autumn sticker set I've been working on for weeks! It has little acorn stickers, mushroom clusters, dried pressed flowers, and a few cozy teacup designs. I hand-lettered all the labels and honestly I'm so proud of how they turned out. If you'd like to grab a set, they're up on my Ko-fi shop now. I've been redesigning my little corner of the internet from scratch and I'm so happy with how it turned out! Sage green and lavender are my forever colors. The new layout has a proper guestbook, a gallery for my art, and this journal. It's finally starting to feel like home.
